Story
I live with Depression; but it doesn’t rule my life.
Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Many would say “depression isn’t a mental health issue”, but it really is.
Millions of people live with mental health issues and millions more do so without even realising it. Raising awareness is so important.
But equally important is raising funding for mental health provision. Since 2010, funding for mental health services has been cut by 8.25%, with services withdrawn for millions of people and workers in the NHS, Schools, and other emergency services, as well as prisons and probation services.
Mental health services are at breaking point; that’s why fundraising is so important, and it’s why I’m so proud to be running for Mind at the London Marathon 2024.
Your mental health is vital; it’s doesn’t matter your age or gender - because your mind is equally fragile regardless of physical strength.
Please join me in raising awareness and funds for this amazing cause. Thank you!
