Story

Many of you know my story—but for those who don’t, here’s a glimpse into a journey that changed my life forever.

In July 2016, everything shifted. My dad a man who seemed truly indestructible to everyone who knew him, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Suddenly, the strongest person in my world was in the fight of his life. For nearly four years, he faced every high and low this disease threw at him with courage, grit, and that same stubborn resilience that made us all believe he could never be beaten. In our eyes, he was still invincible.

But on April 18th, 2020, my dad passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love. Not a day goes by that we don’t feel the weight of his absence—but also the light of his presence in everything we do.

Now, five years later, I’m taking on something bold in his memory but also to promote the vital support Maggies provide to so many families. I’m running from Celtic Park to Elland Road—two stadiums that hold some of my happiest memories with my dad. From Scotland to England in five days, finishing on what would’ve been his birthday. It’s a journey that’s equal parts madness and meaning. But then again, doing something meaningful rarely comes easy.

This challenge is about more than just miles—it’s about making a difference. I’m raising funds for Maggie’s, an incredible charity that offers vital, practical, and emotional support to people with cancer and their loved ones. They were there for others when they needed it most—and now I want to be there for them.

If you’re able to support in any way—no matter how small—it would mean the world. These are challenging times for everyone, but even the smallest act of kindness can help change a life.

Thank you for reading, thank you for believing, and thank you for helping so many other families who go through the difficult journey cancer brings.

Let’s dare to do something great.
