Stephen Parr passed away Wednesday 22 July at Leeds General Infirmary after a battle with a heart failure.

Stephen was a loving and devoted Husband to Allison, an amazing Dad to Joe and Jake, caring Father in law to Sarah and Natalie and a lovable Grandad to Isla and Freya. He was a wonderful Brother to Ruth, Mark and Cathy and fantastic Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was also funny, loyal and daft friend to many.

Throughout the time spent on the Heart Ward at LGI the staff caring for Dad were amazing and kind, considerate and compassionate to the family.

Donating will help Take Heart continue making life more comfortable for Heart Patients in the Yorkshire Heart Centre in LGI. They supply furniture for wards, provide free bedside TV and phone calls for all heart patients, provide up to date equipment for staff, provide a roof garden adjacent to the heart wards to provide a breath of fresh air for patients, visitors and staff. Importantly, they also provide en-suite accommodation for out-of-town relatives completely free of charge.
