Story

This May I’m going to be running, not to Windsor, but across West Ham land in the Hackney Half Marathon with Ellie, Vicky, John, Kath and Izzy!!

I love eating and reading comics so naturally this is quite rogue. I need some serious spurring on, so any donations would be hugely appreciated.

I’d like to raise money for three different charities, and this page is specifically for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that supports people living with cancer.

Sadly, in June last year, my Nan passed away after a battle with cancer. Everyone in my family loved her so much, and I want to do something in her memory. She was the kindest person I’ve ever known and always looked out for me. Every day I wish I could tell her all about everything that’s happened in life since I last saw her, and I know she’d be the one cheering me on the most.

Nanny Jan was supported by Macmillan twice in her life, and it is their work that supporter her through a previous battle with cancer, so this is a very important charity to me and my family.

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs.

That's why Macmillan will do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
