Story
On Sunday 28th June, I’ll be attempting something that felt like a good idea at the time...climbing Pen y Fan four times in one day.
Yes, four.
No, I haven’t fully thought it through.
I’m doing it to raise money for City Hospice, an amazing Cardiff-based charity that supports people with life-limiting illnesses - helping them stay comfortable, supported and dignified when it matters most. The work they do for families across the city is genuinely incredible.
So while I’ll be busy battling gravity, fatigue, and my own decision-making around climb number three…they’re busy changing lives every single day.
Also, in the spirit of full transparency:
I am shamelessly using a photo of my daughter (again) to improve engagement on this post. If that’s what it takes to squeeze out a few extra donations, so be it.
If you can donate, it would mean a lot. Even a small amount goes a long way.
And if you can’t, a share is hugely appreciated, the more people who see this, the better.
I’ll post updates on the day, ranging from “nailed it” to “why did I do this” depending on which climb I’m on.
Four climbs. One good cause. Let’s make it count.
