Story
This November, our team at Joseph Family Dental Care will be taking on the 12-mile Stanage Edge Hathersage Circuit, through the beautiful (and no doubt chilly!) Peak District to raise money and awareness for the Mouth Cancer Foundation.
As dental professionals, we see first-hand just how important early detection and support are for people affected by mouth cancer. It’s a cause very close to our hearts, and we want to do our bit to help fund the vital work the foundation does — from supporting patients and families, to raising awareness of the signs and symptoms, and promoting life-saving early diagnosis.
It’s going to be a tough challenge (especially in November weather!), but every step we take will be worth it if it helps make a difference.
We’d be so grateful for any donations, big or small. Your support will keep us motivated on the hike and, more importantly, help the Mouth Cancer Foundation continue their incredible work.
Thank you from all of us at Joseph Family Dental Care! 💙
The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a charity dedicated to helping and supporting those suffering from or at risk of mouth cancer, throat cancer and other head and neck cancers, as well as providing assistance and information on living with mouth cancer for families, friends and carers.
Help raise awareness by fundraising or join in the charity's annual fundraiser, the Mouth Cancer 10 KM Awareness Walk. You can also support the charity's self examination campaign or order a copy of the Easy to Swallow Cookbook.
