For over the last 14 months I have been a volunteer at the Christian Kitchen as one of their Van drivers and frequent food preper and server, in this time I have seen the impact the charity has in my local area and the need for this type of charity work. They serve hot food, soup, fruits and treats, everyday, all year round, and we threw a christmas party last year with even gifts! We all sat together and ate together, It was a beautiful sight.

And so, for my birthday this year, I want to help a ton more by using a day of recieving, for giving. I borrow these words from the Lord Jesus as Apostle Paul repeats, saying "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’" Act 20:35 NIV.

I believe in these words strongly and in so, I ask that in your giving, nothing is too small or too big, when it is from the heart it is more than enough!
