Story

I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 in support of The Hospice of St Francis, a charity that makes a real difference to people facing some of life’s toughest moments.

The Hospice supports over 2,000 local people who are living with, or recovering from, serious illness. Their care is incredibly wide ranging. Whether it is nursing support, physiotherapy, or complementary therapies, they provide tailored help either at home or at the hospice, always centred around the individual. Just as importantly, their team of professionals and dedicated volunteers bring compassion and dignity to every interaction.

Hospices like The Hospice of St Francis play such an important role in our communities. They do not just care for patients, they support families, provide comfort, and help people make the most of every moment, even in the most difficult circumstances.

They rely heavily on donations to continue this work, needing to raise over £6 million each year, with less than 20 percent coming from the NHS. By supporting my run, you are helping ensure that this vital and compassionate care continues to be there for those who need it most.

Any support, big or small, really means a lot. Thank you.
