On 1st August 2026, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet: running 100 laps of Talkin Tarn, covering around 215 kilometres, to raise money for Eden Valley Hospice.

Nine years ago, I lost my mum to cancer. During the final part of her life, the care and compassion shown by Eden Valley Hospice meant so much to both her and our family.

This August, my mum would have celebrated her 70th birthday. To honour her memory, I’m setting myself this challenge and hoping to raise £700. (£10 for every year she would have celebrated.) Every penny raised will go to Eden Valley Hospice, helping them continue providing incredible care and support to patients and families when they need it most.
