My expedition aims to climb Antarctica’s highest mountain Vinson standing at 4,892m and then I plan to become the first person to ski to the South Pole pulling a Rocking Horse.

The purpose of the expedition is to raise funds and awareness for two small charities that I believe will make a big difference.

Rocking Horse Charity who support serious ill and terminally sick children across Sussex and Kidscape who help support mental health of young lives affected by bullying. Both charities are close to my heart as I have witnessed first-hand their incredible support and I intend to raise awareness and much needed funds for both these fantastic charities.

On my return from Antarctica, I will share my experience with planned talks to inspire children in schools, hospitals and enable young minds to set their own goals or adventures.

In addition, there will be planned events and press to raise awareness and any donations for both charities to support those children most in need of help would be greatly appreciated.

Kidscape works directly with children and families experiencing bullying, across the UK. We provide workshops for children and their families, teaching confidence and assertiveness skills to tackle a bullying situation. We provide practical support and telephone advice to parents and carers worried about bullying situations. We also train professionals in how to challenge and prevent bullying in schools.
