Hi everyone,

This September, I will be doing the Great North Run to raise money for Martin House. They provide family-led hospice care, free of charge, for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses across Yorkshire.

We are approaching 40 years since Martin House opened. At the time, it was the second children's hospice in the country. Now, Martin House cares for and supports more than 550 families and 425 children and young people across Yorkshire every single year.

My wonderful Nanna has been volunteering with the charity for 20 years, raising money through a local Ilkley group. This group alone have raised a staggering £180,000. In addition to raising money for this incredible charity, I hope to make my Nanna proud!
