Lothian Phoenix Wheelchair Basketball Club attracts both disabled and able-bodied players from across Scotland to its home base of Armadale. We have a thriving junior section as well as senior players, some who play recreationally and others that represent Scotland and play internationally.

Story

Can you help our wheelchair basketball team achieve their dream of competing in this year’s EuroCup tournament in Italy?

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many of our players and we would love your help to make it happen. Our club had a successful season last year and we are very proud of our achievements…

* Gaining promotion to British Wheelchair Basketball’s Premier Division.

* Having teams competing in division 1 and division 3.

* Active in the Scottish league and UKWB league.

* A growing youth section.

* Run entirely by dedicated volunteers.

The next achievement for us will be showcasing Scottish wheelchair basketball in an International tournament! We are competing in the EuroCup Qualification round which takes place in Italy from the 1st - 4th May. The total cost including travel and accommodation is around £9,000. This is a huge stretch for the club therefore we would really appreciate your help. All donations made will go directly towards getting our players to Italy.

We are determined not to let financial barriers stand in the way of our team playing the sport they love and having this amazing life experience.

Any contribution you are able to make is much appreciated.

Thank you for your support!
