We are raising money for The Christie Neuroendocrine Research Team in support of Laura Lonergan 💙

Me and a group of our friends have decided to take on the 100K Ultra Challenge in the Peak District on Saturday the 28th of June in support of my Fiancé Laura who has been battling Neuroendocrine Cancer over the last year. We want to raise as much money as possible for the team at Christie’s who are looking after Laura.

In March 2024 our world was turned upside down when we found out Laura had Stage 3 lung cancer. In April she had to have two third’s of her right lung removed.

In December 2024 we got the terrible news it was Stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer and spread to her lymph nodes & bones. Laura started on treatment on the same day and now has an injection once every 4 weeks at the Christie in Manchester.

Laura, her sister Faye & her uncle Kev are going to be starting off the challenge with us doing the 10 mile loop.

This is an incredibly difficult time for us as we learn to adapt to this new way of life. Laura has been unbelievably positive and strong throughout this whole situation. We love her so much 💙
