Story
I’m running the Great North Run for my sister, Robyn.
In July 2022, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, impacting movement, balance, and everyday life. She had dreams of becoming a dancer, and now those dreams have been taken away from her.
Since her diagnosis, she’s had to alter her life in so many ways and faces challenges every single day, but she takes it all in her stride and continues to be an amazing person.
I’m not a runner in the slightest, but I am someone who, when I say I’m going to do something, I stick to my word, and I will do this. Seeing what she goes through has given me all the motivation I need to take on this run and push myself to the finish.
I’m raising money to support Robyn and other people living with MS and to help fund vital research. If anyone would like to donate, it would genuinely mean a lot to me and to my sister, every contribution makes a difference.
Thank you
