Story
A few years ago, a close member of my family received the devastating diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease Progressive bulbar palsy (PBP) . This was a condition we had never encountered before, and it left us feeling lost and confused. It was only later that I learned about the struggles faced by many families affected by this illness, including those of my wife's uncle, who had passed away from the same condition.
This July, I have been honored to be selected to play for the Barbarians ice hockey team during the UK Charity All Stars 2026 event in Sheffield. Over three days, I will be participating in this charity event to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Every penny raised will contribute to vital research aimed at finding a cure and providing support for those currently living with MND and their families.
I invite you to join me in this important cause. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of individuals battling MND. Together, we can help fund essential research and provide hope for a brighter future. Please consider donating to my fundraising page as we strive to reach our target of £500. Thank you for your generosity and support.
