Story
In April 2027, I will be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for the MS Trust, a charity that provides vital support to people living with Multiple Sclerosis but often doesn’t receive the recognition it deserves.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart because my mum has been living with MS for 13 years.
Growing up, I’ve seen the impact MS can have on everyday life. It’s a condition that many people don’t fully understand. Some days can be harder than others, and the challenges aren’t always visible. Yet despite everything MS has thrown at her, my mum continues to do everything she can for our family. She works full-time, supports those around her, and never lets her condition define who she is.
The strength, resilience, and determination she shows every day are genuinely inspiring. While I know training for and running 26.2 miles will be one of the biggest physical challenges I’ve ever faced, it is nothing compared to the challenges that people living with MS overcome every single day.
That’s why I’m running.
I’m running for my mum. I’m running for everyone living with MS. And I’m running to support the MS Trust, whose work helps thousands of people access trusted information, specialist support, and guidance when they need it most.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Your support will help the MS Trust continue their incredible work and will give me extra motivation through every mile of this journey.
If you are able to donate, thank you. If you can share this page, thank you. And if you simply take a moment to learn more about MS, thank you.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me support a cause that means so much to me and my family.
Josh
