Story
*PLEASE READ* - This is something I have always found hard to talk about in public... but not talking about it prevents raising much needed awareness.
On Sunday 4th October, I will be taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
This is a disease that affects my wife, Abi, every single day.
In 2019 - our lives were turned upside down. Abi was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour and has since undergone multiple rounds of radio and chemotherapy, as well as numerous surgeries.
Treatment options remain limited, and without funding for vital research, too many lives will continue to be lost to this devastating disease.
We remain hopeful and positive, but know the future is uncertain.
PLEASE HELP us to continue to raise money for research in any way we can, to help Abi and others affected by this disease have the chance to live the long lives they deserve.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. IT IS SEVERELY UNDERFUNDED!!!
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
