Story
I’ve decided to take on the Manchester Marathon to raise money for Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice, with a target of £500.
I’ve done quite a few of Trinity/Brian house runs and events over the years, so this feels like a good chance to give something back and support the amazing work they do for people and families in our community.
A marathon itself isn’t quite enough of a challenge anymore, so I’ve decided to make things interesting by aiming to finish in under 3 hours and 40 minutes. Only 35 mins quicker than my PB! That means months of training, plenty of sore legs, and more early mornings than I’d like to admit.
If you can spare a few pounds, I’d really appreciate it. Every donation goes towards helping Trinity Hospice and Brian House continue the incredible care and support they provide.
Thanks for the support—and if nothing else, at least your donation will make all the suffering feel worthwhile!
