Caudwell Children transforms the lives of disabled children across the UK. We act as a safety net for families who are unable to gain the help they need. We provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.

Story

The world can be a whirlwind for someone like me, Josh, who is autistic. Sensory overload, a constant barrage of sights and sounds, can be overwhelming. But I found my refuge: running. Every stride brings me clarity, every mile a testament to my inner strength and unwavering spirit.

This year, I'm taking on the ultimate challenge: the London Marathon! But I won't be facing it alone. By my side will be my incredible dad, Paul, cheering me on every step of the way, both in training and during the race itself. His unwavering support makes this journey even more meaningful.

It's not just about conquering 26.2 miles; it's about conquering the hurdles life throws our way, proving that with every bead of sweat, the human spirit of an autistic individual shines through. My dad's belief in me has been a constant source of strength.

This journey wouldn't be possible without Caudwell Children, a charity that supported me and my family when we needed it most. They provided a safe space where I found confidence, formed friendships, and embarked on incredible adventures. Their impact on my life is immeasurable.

Why I am Fundraising:

Now, it's my turn to give back. By raising funds for Caudwell Children, I hope to empower other children and their families, just like they empowered me. Your donations will fuel their vital work, opening doors to opportunities, building confidence, and fostering brighter futures.
