Story
Following the sudden passing of my much beloved Dad (Andy, aged 57) on May 7th 2024, I'm fundraising for the BHF on his behalf. He was a hard-working loving Dad, who always strived to provide the best for his family and friends. He was a lifelong football lover, supporting Stoke City through thick and thin. He always offered his unwavering support to my junior team, volunteering as a coach and following us across the country - even after multiple 0-20 losses.
Personally, I will be partaking in the Manchester AJ Bell Half Marathon on the 26th of May, fundraising for the BHF in memory of my farther.
He will be deeply missed by many, and we would greatly appreciate any donation made to the BHF in his memory.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist.
