On sat 13th September myself and 9 others will be embarking on a 25km hike across the difficult and challenging terrain of dartmoor national park. Operating in the engineering industry the armed forces have many links with many of our staff, customers and suppliers having served. This is why help for heroes is our chosen charity.

Help for Heroes supports members of the Armed Forces community to live well after service.

There are many ways the Charity helps veterans, their relatives, serving personnel, and people who worked alongside the UK military.

From helping people with their physical and mental health. To giving people the support, skills, confidence, and knowledge to make a success of life in the civilian world.

It’s an injustice that people don’t get a fair deal from the country they risked everything for.
