We provide specialist care and education to support autistic young people

Story

I’m running my first half-marathon (or race of any kind!) in support of Prior’s Court, to raise money for the children and young people who live and learn there full-time. They are all severely autistic with other complex needs as well, which makes everyday life really challenging for them. But just because they have such severe challenges doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get to enjoy the opportunities, experiences and fun that others their age often take for granted – this is what Prior’s Court is all about.

They’re currently raising funds to build a brand-new performing arts centre specially designed around the needs of severe autism – so that the young people there can all get to experience everything the performing arts have to offer such as acting in a play, watching a performance, learning dance movements or playing an instrument – everything I got to do when I was young(er). All money you help me to raise will go towards this performing arts centre.
