WHY RUN?

This year my grandmother-in-law, Ursula, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

The progression of this disease is particularly cruel as it gradually shuts down the body whilst leaving the mind intact. There is no cure and cases prove fatal within a couple of years. Ursula’s battle with this disease is impacting the entire family, including our young children.

I will run the Oxford Half Marathon on 13th October this year to raise funds for the MND Association. This charity improves access to care and conducts vital research towards a cure. By sponsoring me your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease, like Ursula.
