Story
For the people that know me, they know that I love sport and being active but sadly I’m made of glass (even at the time in writing this I have fractured my wrist playing football during an IPA tournament in Gran Canary)
In 2024 I broke my ankle playing football and the amazing people at Flint House managed to put my back together and stronger than ever.
Thanks to their help, I was able to reignite my love for running and finally start the challenges I’ve always wanted to do; complete the Inca Trail in Peru to Machu Picchu, the 3 Peaks in 24 hours challenge and finally running a marathon.
I spent 2025 trying to prepare the legs, by doing 5 half marathons and will be running in the Manchester Marathon 2026 to help raise money for this amazing charity.
Our Charity’s vision is to deliver world class preventative and rehabilitative care for people in the police service. Supporting people to lead healthy lives, build resilient careers and enjoy retirement. At Flint House we put people at the heart of what we do; and provide care, support and compassion. We always strive for excellence and continuous improvement.
