Story
In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon in support of St Barnabas Hospice, a place that means a great deal to the family. It’s an honour to take on this challenge in memory of two very special people.
St Barnabas cared for Nanny Barb and Grandad John during the final stages of their lives. The compassion, dignity, and warmth they received from the incredible staff there is something we’ll never forget. It became a safe, comforting place where family could be together, supported, and at peace during such difficult times.
Hospices like St Barnabas provide essential care for people with life-limiting illnesses, and for their families. But they rely on donations to continue this work. I’m running to give something back — to honour the memory of Nanny Barb and Grandad John, and to help ensure other families can receive the same comfort and support that we did.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund this vital care. Whether you can donate, share this page, or simply cheer me on, you’re part of something truly meaningful. Together, we can help St Barnabas continue to be there for others, offering comfort, dignity, and care when it’s needed most.
