All funds being raised are for the South Yorkshire Branch of the MND Association which is run entirely by volunteers to raise money to support those families in South Yorkshire living with the dreadful disease.

On 11th August 2026, I am walking up Mount Snowden, the highest peak in Wales, in loving memory of my wonderful brother, Les Jordan, who we lost to Motor Neurone Disease Disease, on this date last year.

Anyone who knew Les knows just how incredible he was and how much he loved life. MND is a devastating and cruel disease that moves far too fast, stripping away independence and breaking hearts, with no cure currently available.

Walking up Snowden will be a huge physical and emotional challenge, but it is nothing compared to the daily battle Les faced with such bravery.

I am taking on this climb to honour Les and to raise vital funds for the MND Association. They do incredible work funding life-changing research to find a cure, campaigning for better care, and providing hands on support to families going through the exact same heartbreak we did.

Every single penny raised will help us keep Les’s memory alive and bring us closer to a world free from MND. Whether you can give a little or a lot, your support means the absolute world to me.
