Myself and my sister Kitty will be running the Cambridge Half Marathon to raise money for Royal Papworth Hospital Charity.

This is a charity that means a lot to us as in March 2025 our dad went in for life saving emergency heart surgery.

It was discovered that he had a bicuspid valve, a congenital heart defect which over time lead to his aorta tearing. It’s thanks to the amazing team at papworth that he is with us and his recovery is going well.

Kitty has also discovered that she has the same heart defect. She will now be undergoing more investigations and monitored by Papworth for life.
