12hr Wild Swim Relay: Jesus Green · 21 June 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

You enter a team of swimmers and you swim for an hour each, on rotation, for 12 hours. It’s not a race, timed or a competition in any way. Summon your swim buddies and join us in 2025.

Story

I’m gearing up to swim for 12 hours, and it’s going to be a test of endurance, sheer determination and stupidity!

The real challenge comes in those cold early morning hours when all I will want to do is sleeeeeep! I will have my daughter with me to provide my food and drinks plus any paracetamol I may need for my ouchies!

My longest solo swim to date is 10 hours though my team mate and I Liz managed a two person 24 hour relay at shepperton last year 💪 We are revisiting Shepperton to do a 3 person relay again this year just before coming to Jesus green 😳 Don't worry just the one fundraising page for both this time! As a swim teacher and lifeguard myself I truly believe swimming is a fundamental life skill and raising money for such a worthy charity will keep me going in the wee small hours of both these monumental swims!

I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for Level Water, an incredible charity that provides 1-to-1 swimming lessons for children with disabilities. With your support, these kids might one day join us in this very event, swimming alongside their friends and family.

Every £15 funds a life-changing lesson. When I reach my target we would have funded 10 life changing lessons!

Please donate what you can and help me make a difference!
