Our lovely New Christ Church CE Primary school regularly takes our nurture class to Camp Mohawk and we appreciate so much this bespoke fantastic resource which caters exactly for our children’s needs and provides them with joyful hours of safe and carefree play.

Camp Mohawk actually supports over 900 local families who have a child with extra physical, learning or social needs to have access to adapted play facilities within a peaceful 5 acre woodland setting. The whole family are welcomed to Camp Mohawk Family Days all year round to help reduce the sense of isolation often experienced by families living with disability due to the difficulties coping in mainstream settings due to the child's disability.

Families and schools can enjoy exploring and playing with friends and family without judgment and with the support of experienced staff when needed. The indoor and outdoor facilities include sensory,and soft play rooms, music and art rooms as well as plenty of outdoor space filled with hidden areas to explore and wooden play equipment to enjoy plus a wheelchair accessible trampoline, swing and merry-go-round ensuring all children can play together.

Camp Mohawk receives no government funding, so community support is vital to funding Family Days throughout the year. Thank you for supporting families to access the setting they treasure so much.
