JR Revell Takes on the Maldon Mud Race!

JR Revell is proud to be the major sponsor of the Maldon Mud Race — and once again, we’re getting stuck in too!

Six members of our team will be taking on the famous Maldon mud to raise vital funds for local Essex charities. As a Maldon-based business, supporting our community is incredibly important to us, and we’ve seen first-hand the real difference this event makes.

Last year, our team raised over £5,000 and experienced just how powerful this event is in bringing businesses and communities together to support those who need it most. This year, we’re aiming to go even further.

Where Your Money Will Go

50% of everything we raise will be donated to Mid & South Essex Hospitals Charity via The Maldon Mud Race, specifically supporting the Puffin and Wagtail paediatric wards at Basildon Hospital.

These wards care for acutely unwell children, support both planned and emergency surgery, and include a dedicated oncology room within their 20-bed unit.

We’re helping to fund a new X-Box Gaming Kart — a portable bedside entertainment system designed to:

• Provide comfort and distraction during treatment

• Support pain management

• Encourage social interaction

• Bring a little bit of “home” into the hospital environment

For children facing long or difficult hospital stays, something as simple as gaming can make a huge difference.

The remaining 50% will support other Maldon Mud Race charities, all based in Essex, helping a wide range of local causes and community projects.
