Story
Johnston Smillie are taking on the (in)famous Seven Hills Challenge - a 7 to 8 hour hike which will take us up and down each of the Seven Hills of Edinburgh in a single day.
Starting off at Corstorphine Hill, we will begin our trek with a modest climb of 161m. After that we will have plenty of time to rest up as we take the long walk south-east to Craiglockhart Hill (West), with it's summit of 158m. Then it's onto the Braid Hills (208m) and Blackford Hill (164m) before the biggest challenge of the day - Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano standing at 251m. After that it's the much less intimidating Calton Hill (103m), before we end the day at Castle Hill (130m) where we can grab a well-deserved drink (or several)!
15 members of the Johnston Smillie team have agreed to take on the challenge to raise as much money as we can for charity.
Every penny raised through sponsorship goes directly to The Johnston Smillie Charitable Trust, and will be used to support smaller local charities who are in need of funding.
As always, we are grateful for all of your support. Keep up with us on our website and social media to see how your donations are helping to make a difference across Central Scotland.
