Running the London Marathon has always been a personal ambition of mine, and I’m incredibly excited to finally have the opportunity to take on this challenge. I’ll be running in support of Leukaemia UK, a charity that is particularly close to my family.

Many years ago, my brother was diagnosed with leukaemia. Thankfully, he is now in remission and has been for many years. We feel extremely fortunate to be able to say that, but we also know that there are many families currently facing the same uncertainty, fear and challenges that my family experienced.

Leukaemia UK does vital work supporting people affected by leukaemia and funding research that can help improve treatments and outcomes for future patients. By fundraising, I hope to play a small part in helping them continue that important work and support more families in the future.
