Myself and my partner Jake are gearing up to run 10k through Worcester this September to raise money for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. Having not run regularly since 2020, and only ever getting as far as 5K, this is my biggest challenge yet! Jake will be there to support me as I get race ready, and challenging himself for a PB on the day.

Money we raise will go to the Worcestershire Oncology Centre, supporting patients undergoing radiotherapy. Charity funds can be used to improve the quality of the care that patients receive by purchasing additional specialist equipment. These can help speed up treatment or appointments, make patients more comfortable and make radiotherapy less daunting. Any amount raised will make a difference those facing cancer treatment in Worcestershire.
