This Sunday, I’ll be doing a walking marathon (@giantwalk) in memory of my friend’s beautiful daughter, Pip, who tragically took her own life. We’re raising money for Pip’s Place—a sanctuary of hope and healing for young people who are struggling, with the aim of making positive changes and helping them turn their lives around.

Pip’s Place Online is a Guided Self-Help group offering professional support to people with long-standing eating disorders. It provides a safe space and ongoing care for those who have been stepped down or discharged from specialist clinical services. The group is open to all ages and runs every Tuesday.

We operate under the umbrella of First Steps ED, a UK-wide charity supporting children, young people, families, and adults affected by eating difficulties and disorders. Many of the team have lived experience, so they truly understand the journey to recovery. Services range from 1-to-1 support, befriending, and peer groups to tailored workshops—providing hope, choice, and real opportunities to heal.
