In 2016 our most gorgeous special friend Mel Switters began a gruelling journey with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This has resulted in a double mastectomy, painful reconstruction, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, further lumpectomies and biopsies, all of which she faced like an absolute trooper. Fast forward to February this year and despite all that she had already been through over the past 8 years sadly Mel received the devastating news that the cancer had metastasised to her lung. Mel has been a source of strength and inspiration to so many by sharing her rollercoaster of emotions and experiences to help others who are on the same, or similar journey, and this new setback is no exception.

We are responding to Mel’s latest experience as positively as we can by raising funds for The UK Charity for TNBC. They are the voice of Triple Negative Breast Cancer patients, raise awareness of this cruel and under supported illness, provide information for patients and fund education for Breast Cancer nurses.
