I've signed up for a 10K at the end of May in Port Aventura theme park. As I was unable to participate in the Tarragona half marathon, this is an alternative run I've found. I hope to be able to do a half marathon at some point in the near future too!

I want to raise money for AMMF, the UK's cholangiocarcinoma charity.

My mum Anna died on 28th August 2023 of cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the bile ducts). By the time she had symptoms, the cancer had taken over most of her liver and gall bladder. The diagnosis was terminal, the doctors ran various tests to decide a palliative treatment plan, but just 13 days after her diagnosis, she died.

It was a horrible shock to us, her family and all those that knew and loved her. It was all so sudden. I'd hate this to happen to others, so a small thing we can do to help is donate to AMMF, a charity who is working to provide information about bile duct cancer to those who need it and to encourage and support specialised research into understanding the causes of it. They are also finding ways to achieve earlier diagnosis and effective treatments for this disease. For more information on AMMF and the work they do, please visit

Mi madre Anna murió el 28 de agosto de 2023 de colangiocarcinoma (cáncer de las vías biliares). Cuando tuvo síntomas, el cáncer ya se había apoderado de la mayor parte de su hígado y vesícula biliar.
