This year I will be running the Kenilworth half marathon for glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain tumour. We sadly lost my father, Peter Legge at 52 to this in 1992 and since then a close friend of his Robin Jones has passed away from the same disease. Unfortunately, Peter never got to see his grandson grow up and go to University. I will be 60 this year and was determined to do something to honour his memory. I ran a half marathon last year for Mind and will run this year to raise awareness of this terrible disease.
