I have decided to take on a new Challenge in Oct 2025 to help raise money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice again. My husband John received excellent care and attention, in his last few of months, at home and in the hospice while suffering from prostate cancer.

In October 2025 I will be joining other like minded people, who too have experienced the loss cancer can cause, to Trek the final section of the French Way of the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain.

The trek begins in Sarria will involve 5 days of walking, approximately 22k each day, on this well worn path to Santiago. I have also decided to add an extra challenge for myself ….I will be attempting to learn Spanish!! Fingers crossed I’ll be able to at least understand the basics and hopefully reply politely !!
