Story
Colleagues across Kier have chosen Action for Children as their charity partner for the next two years. This is a brilliant charity, with a vision that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood.
To support the charity and raise vital funds, I've signed up to Boycott your Bed; sleeping out in London on 3rd October to help the children across the UK who go to bed every night feeling unsafe, cold, hopeless.
4.5 million children now live in poverty in the UK. That’s 31% of all children. Tonight, many children will go to bed hungry. Struggle to sleep in a cold, damp house. And start the next day without a warm coat or shoes that fit. It’s relentless. But it doesn’t have to be like this.
Please support me with raising vital funds and help more children have a safe and happy childhood. £50 could pay for new shoes for two children, £65 could help more children have a safe and happy childhood.
Childhood is precious - and we can take action for children so they don't miss out.
