Story
I'm not sure I've still got the nerve - or those boots! - but feel the fear and do it anyway, eh? This time I'm taking on the challenge of abseiling 30 metres down Bristol's iconic Avon Gorge (in considerably more sensible clothes and footwear) for an AMAZING charity.
Why? Because right now, more than 1 million people in the south west are living in poverty. Meanwhile, 4.6 million tonnes of quality, edible food – enough for more than 10 billion meals – is wasted every year across the food industry, causing irreparable climate damage.
I'm joining FareShare South West to join the dots between hunger and food waste.
Please help me raise £300. Just £274 would help pay for three meals every day for a year for someone living in food poverty! Let's try to exceed that target but know that every donation helps - just £1 could provide food for 4 meals – so whatever you can give will make a real difference.
THANK YOU xx
