Since 2019, we have approved grants of over £2m to support improvements for patients with heart disease at our NHS hospitals.

Supporting Cardiac Recovery in Our Community

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Team is raising funds to support patients recovering from a myocardial infarction (heart attack). Our aim is to provide access to the Heart Manual, an evidence-based home programme designed to support patients both physically and psychologically during their recovery.

The Heart Manual empowers patients to regain confidence, return to normal daily activities, and make lasting lifestyle changes. It offers structured guidance on managing stress, improving wellbeing, and reducing risk factors associated with further coronary artery disease.

By supporting this initiative, you will help us ensure that every patient has access to the tools they need to recover fully, improve their quality of life, and reduce the likelihood of future cardiac events.
