I’m Julie and I have multiple myeloma which is an incurable blood and bone cancer

When I was first diagnosed, my prognosis was terrifying and my life expectancy was just 3 years. That was 3 years ago and I’m about to do a WING WALK!

Thanks to the ongoing research and trials that are being conducted for myeloma, I’m still here! Myeloma UK plays a huge part in that research and in making lives more liveable for those living with the cancer. I’ve had a stem cell transplant and am on a continuous chemotherapy program but I am able to live a life that I wouldn’t have thought was possible 3 years ago

To celebrate that life, my 70th birthday, and to raise much needed funds for the Myeloma UK charity, I am going to be strapped to the top of an aeroplane for an adrenaline filled flight!
