Story
As I approach my 60th year I realise that I am privileged to be able to walk 100 miles in order to raise money for this very worthy cause, and in memory of my dear friend Tina. She was so inspirational and dignified throughout her cancer journey.... she was amazing & I bloody love her!
I'm joining thousands of others to Walk 100 Miles in October to support ovarian cancer research.
Ovarian cancer kills more women than all the other gynaecological cancers combined. In the UK over 50% of women are diagnosed at an advanced stage, drastically reducing their chances of survival.
There is currently no screening tool for ovarian cancer, symptoms are often unknown and research is underfunded.
But there is hope. Ovarian Cancer Action are working to change this.
With ovarian cancer, early action can make all the difference.
By supporting my challenge you'll help fund their lifesaving ovarian cancer research that will give women the best chance of survival.
