Hello, my name is Julia. Arriving in Winchester many years ago with my husband and young family, I was delighted to hear a Life Speaker at our parish encouraging the formation of local Life volunteer groups. We were so enthused by the depth and range of the services Life offers to help with pregnancy or pregnancy loss, that a local group was indeed then formed. We began to fundraise to support the essential and amazing work Life carries out with new mums every day. By 2015 and through the generosity of wonderful supporters like yourself, we opened a Life Charity Shop with Care Centre, in nearby Eastleigh, ensuring continued funds, Care and awareness for almost 10 years up until it's recent closure.

My desire in joining the Pilgrims Progress Trek to Rome in this Jubilee Year of Hope, is to again raise funds for, and awareness of the plight and struggles facing many new and pregnant mums and their families.
