Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m lucky enough to live in a beautiful part of the country, but increasingly our beaches and coastlines are becoming polluted in many ways, including more and more plastic washing up on our beaches. I’m supporting this fundraising effort to help ensure the environment remains clean and healthy.

I will be swim 1km in a Wimbleball Lake on September 24th. I will not be wearing a wetsuit, just a swimming costume.

About the charity

Plastic Free North Devon is a local environmental charity on a mission to protect and improve our environment through community led action. We aim to connect people with their natural surroundings through conversations, education and events to ensure residents and visitors alike want to protect what our very existence depends on. We want to see radical transformation towards a healthier and more informed relationship with the environment.
