Running
I am thrilled to announce I'm running the 2026 London Marathon (26 April 2026), to support the work of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
As some of you know, I only started running in 2024, and this will be my first marathon. I truly appreciate your support - it's as a huge motivation in my training towards the big goal.
About Multiple Sclerosis
For me MS Society is not a random organisation that provides a spot for an event many runners dream of.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel.
The condition is one of the most popular neurological diseases affecting ~2.9 million people worldwide. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms.
There are still many open questions in this field: better treatments, one-off therapies, vaccinations, and remyelination (the recovery of damaged myelin). I genuinely want to contribute to advancements in this field both financially and through my skills as I seek opportunities to volunteer as a data scientist.
MS Society
Among all the incredible work done by the MS Society, I want to highlight their investment in ground-breaking research aimed at stopping MS. They also provide help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups that reach thousands of people every year.
Quizrun
is a project I am launching together with my friend Aidar, aiming to create a new hybrid sport blending running with answering the questions, find next event in calendar, come and have fun. Half of the proceeds we collect there will go for this cause.
Call to Action
Listen to your body — don’t ignore even the tiniest symptoms — to prevent bigger troubles. Please be attentive to others around you as well and please support this cause!
