I’ve been a GP in Cambridge for over 25 years and have lost count of the many patients of mine that have had extraordinary care from Arthur Rank. My loved ones have also had care from Arthur Rank Hospice and at hospices further afield.

You are doubtless aware of the odd funding that exists for hospices across the country. All of them need to raise income through charitable giving because contracts do not cover the necessary core funding. Arthur Rank Hospice is no different and it, as you can see from their website, is due to lose a significant portion of funding later this year due to a cut in a contract.

So the emphasis on charitable income is all the more.
