Bar Mitzvah Fundraiser

Story

My name Is Julian Shochat. My Bar-Mitzvah is on November 30, 2024. As my Bar-Mitzvah project I have chosen to raise money for an organization near and dear to my heart, The Lone Soldier Center. Lone Soldiers are soldiers who don't have family in Israel and move to Israel to serve in the IDF. The organization was created by friends and family of Michael Levin z”l, a lone soldier from Pennsylvania who fell in battle during the 2006 Lebanon War. The LSC helps lone soldiers by providing them with food, laundry, basic necessities, equipment, advice, seminars, social events, shabbat meals and more. By providing lone soldiers physical and emotional support, they help them through the difficulties that serving In the army presents, especially when living far away from their family.

I chose this cause because it is my dream to be an IDF soldier and since I do not live in Israel I will be a lone soldier. I want to help lone soldiers because it is not easy moving far away from home. Lone soldiers make the incredibly noble decision to leave their home to protect the Jewish nation. Please donate and help me raise $1,500 to support our lone soldiers in the fight to protect our homeland.
