Daniel would have been celebrating his 40 th birthday on 24 th June . Daniel died age 30 in 2017 from a catastrophic brain haemorrhage secondary to type 1 diabetes.

As a teenager Daniel spent a lot of time on the childrens ward particularly ward 7. The ward holds a special place in our heart and as a family we have supported the unit over the years In memory of Daniel

As a family we are hoping to raise £7000 over the year to fund a new nurses station on the children’s unit at RPH in the form of a pirate ship. He spent many an evening sat at the nurses station charming the nurses into getting him pizza ! He also loved a good pirate boat trip so we feel the cause is something he would approve

CHALLENGE NO 3

On September 13 th Dans brother Rick , Uncle Kev and cousins Joe and George are all running the Great North Run for this great cause!
