George's Rockstars Skydive 2025! · 5 April 2025

An epic adrenaline filled challenge to support children in hospital through the magic of music therapy!

Story

It's been a while since I did any fundraising for charity and this piqued my interest as it's something I've always wanted to do but never been brave enough to do it. The fact that I'm doing it for charity means no chickening out! If any of my friends can spare any cash, no matter how small, please consider donating to this lovely charity, who do amazing things for sick children in hospital. I just hope the guys wear industrial strength ear defenders coz they're gonna need them ;-).

Any donations very gratefully received, thank you in advance.

About George's Rockstars:

George's Rockstars was set up in memory of 6 year old George O'Shaughnessy, who battled leukaemia from 22 months old. The charity is inspired by George's experience with music therapy while undergoing a bone marrow transplant at Bristol Children hospital, aged just 4 years.

Music therapy isn't widely available to most NHS hospitals and George's Rockstars have changed that, bring music therapy to 6 hospitals in Hampshire and Sussex in George's name.

Music therapy help children and their families to process living with serious illness, disability or mental health crisis in hospital through music and without having to put feelings and anxieties into words.
